1. Why does my "shipped order" didn't arrive after 3-5 days?
A: We ship with Swiss International Post, and we have no good answer to this question. All we can say is all shipped orders until now did arrive, we never lost one while shipping. But sometimes there are embarrassing long shipping times involved. Sorry about that, but we at Skyraider Model Designs unfortunately have no influence on the post services of our and your country.


2. I placed my order, and there is nothing happening since. When I check, my order status is still on "money received" or "packing". What is going on?
A: Leander Niederhauser is responsible for packing and shipping your order. As he's working on a regular job and he is absent 6 days from home on a regular basis. Sometimes he's not capable of checking e-mails. He will handle your order, ASAP after his home return. Thank you for your understanding. See also Policies.


3. You are very expensive!
A: We know we are not cheep. Our products are produced by professional companies, what rises the price, but guarantees a very good quality. We believe good pricy quality is more fun for the modeller than a cheep piece of junk. But also in our interest we fight to keep the prices low! That's an ongoing process.


4. A lot of your articles I'd like to buy are "out of stock". Does this mean I'm to late, and will never get this items?
A: Related to SMDS products: No, out of stock in our shop means the parts are available as soon as they are reproduced or produced for the first time. For all other products: Yes, that might be the case.


5. I don't like PayPal. Do you accept another way of payment?
A: If you are not member of PayPal, but have a Credit Card, you can pay via PayPal without becoming a member there. If this is still a problem for you, we accept your order via the contact form, and we will replay to you for possible options like wired bank transfer or other. Please be advised we never ship before we received the money. And: we are working on other check-out solutions.


6. I live in XY, and like to buy your products, but I don't want to wait so long to get them. Do you have dealers selling your products in my area?
A: Yes, there are dealers out there, please check the links page.


7. Will you visit our model exposition in XY?
A: We try, but all of us have very demanding jobs, working for Skyraider Model Designs is "only" a hobby. We can't guarantee anything, and decide from case to case, depending on our personal schedules.


8. Why are your products so fast out of stock sometimes?
A: Because we can't produce in high numbers and - thanks to people like you - sell like crazy sometimes. We do reorder sold out items early, but often they don't arrive before the last set is sold. We also try to improve there!


9. I don't speak English good enough to order here, can I talk to you in other languages?
A: Yes, we speak German, French and English, so don't hesitate to contact us in your language if you need.


10. Is there no XY language version of this site?
A: ... working on that, like so many other things, too!


11. How much will shipping to XY cost for my order?
A: Go trough all the check-out pages, choose your preferred shipping, and you'll see how much shipping will cost for your order. 12. I'm worried about the security of your site. I don't like to pay with Credit Card if there is no secure server involved.
A: No Credit Card information is stored or transferred via smds.ws. This is all done on the VerySign protected PayPal site, where you finalize your order. We only send your carts value and name to PayPal, nothing else. In return we have no idea about your Credit Card here at SMDS. We don't even know if you are a member of PayPal or not.


13. I think it's a good way to use PayPal, but I don't want to become a member of PayPal when I finish the check-out.
No problem, there is a link on the same "become a member site" where you can check out with your Credit Card, without becoming a member. If you are a member of PayPal, and use this link, it's possible PayPal recognises you via your Credit Card information as an existing member. If you don't want this, delete your Credit Card information in your PayPal account, or use a different Credit Card.
